Word of Encouragement…
I recall the moment that I accepted Christ as Savior of my life. I was excited and looked forward to a life of happiness and victory over every trial. Why not? The greatest problem solver and source of happiness lives in me.
My dream life was short lived as I eventually learned that problems and hardships are a part of my journey. This insight was not easy for me to accept, in fact, I spent some time pleading the blood of Jesus against life’s challenges and exercising faith to prevent problems from occurring. Nonetheless, life has a way of teaching us the truth and I finally embraced the idea that trials and temptations are a major part of my purpose.
